I’m afraid of gettin’ old

But I don’t want my story told

Wonderin’ what will unfold

Don’t want no other role

 

I just wanna stay young

Even though I know I can’t

Don’t want to be left among

Them that is but really ain’t

 

I’m clingin’ to the mountaintop

Treadin’ water in the deep blue sea

Tryin’ to turn back the clock
